Rory Gawler

Rory graduated from Dartmouth College and the Harvard Graduate School of Education with a Master’s in Education. He was responsible for the Moose Mt. Appalachian Trail shelter (entirely built with hand tools), a construction lead on the Harris Cabin building project, and a founding member of TImberhomes LLC in Vershire, VT. He spent 16 years as the General Manager of the Dartmouth Outing Club, helping maintain the DOC’s chain of cabins, The Ledyard Canoe Club, and the Moosilauke Ravine Lodge.

Rory purchased his 1909 Farmhouse in 2010 and has been adding on and improving the facility there for 15 years. In 2023-24, he put in a ~2800 sq. ft. addition. Doing all the framing and rough carpentry, pulling a brand new, 200-Amp electric service, full drain and supply plumbing service, furnace install with ductwork, windows, doors, flooring and more. This project really sparked his desire to put those skills to work for the Upper Valley community. Now he wants to help you be more comfortable, safe, and happy in your home!
